I was covering a wedding at the Bayit for an Orthodox Wedding last week. The Nafshenu Orchestra was once again doing a great job. The Hora’s and Dancing was non stop.

I just wanted to post some shots from an assignment that I got for a florist shop in the Promenade Shopping Mall. These images will be used on their new website. I learnt a lot about flowers from Nadi of Flower Trends. Anyway here are some samples of the shots:

I had the oppotunity to test the Canon 1DS MKIII (MK3) a few weeks ago at the Torornto Canon CPS event. I am a 1DS user, having owned and used both the MKI and currently the MKII.

I was particularly interested in the high ISO performance of the camera, as I am now switching away from commercial photography to event photography. So, the 2 most important features I was looking for was how good is the camera at high ISO, as well as the weight.

Having shot several weddings using the MK2, at the end of the evening, my wrist are pretty shot. I have now switched to using the 1DS for the formals and shots where I know I will be doing enlargements. The rest of the time, I use a 5D or the 40D.
